Our Laboratory are largely interested in Mitochondrial Biology.

 

Mitochondria has been simply recognized as a cellular power plant to generate biological energy, ATP. But, it is too simplified to show a variety of mitochondrial regulatory functions in biology, such as apoptosis, aging, stem cell biology as well as metabolic diseases including obesity, diabetes and neurodegeneration.

 

Thus, our lab has focused on unveiling new mitochondrial biology to help people who are suffered from metabolic diseases and to make people free from age-related diseases.
